Grant LyonGrant Lyon

"One of the most original comedians on the scene, not only will he make you laugh, you might learn something"
- David Testroet, Producer of the Mile High Comedy Competition.

Grant Lyon

Comedian

San Francisco Weekly describes Grant Lyon as “a hilariously sharp observer, not one of those tired white-guy bellyachers.”

A collegiate soccer player with UC Santa Cruz where he played for a national championship, Grant gave up a professional soccer career to pursue the stage. In 2008, he won the Colorado Comedy Competition, beating out comedians from all over the country.

Since then, he has performed a major festival like the Laughing Skull Comedy festival and Bridgetown Comedy Festival, appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Show, and opened for names like Robin Williams and Bobby Lee.

He is a member of the Sketch Comedy group"Four In The Back" whose video have been featured by sites like funny or Die and Rooftop Comedy. He is also a contributing writer to the Huffington post.

His comedy is clever and honest, a unique combintation of social commentary and ridiculous observations.
